We celebrated Tyler’s Birthday on Saturday at Kajon and Amabelle’s. It was a fun time.
It was also nice with Ate, Nathan, & Trevor in town. Here are some pics taken during their visit.

On my actual birthday, I got these wonderful flowers from Tim. :)
And for dinner we went to one of my favorite restaurants. :p
A few days later, my coworkers surprised me with a little celebration. They got me a balloon and we all had some cake. it was really nice of them.
On Friday night, had dinner with my “special” friends at Lombardi’s in Ballard. I had never been there, but it was good Italian food. Below is a pic of us at Jovanna’s afterwards. This week we received great news that we got into the San Francisco Nike 1/2 marathon in October. I really couldn’t believe we got in, since this is my 3rd year trying to get an entry for the run. I was shocked when I found out because I really didn’t think we would get in. It’s really cool though. Anyway, here we are at jovanna’s planning for the trip.
With the help of Skype we had a couple people teleconference from St. Louis and Iraq.
Yesterday, Tim and I volunteered at Vegfest at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall. I had heard about it from a coworker and I thought it would be a fun event to volunteer at. It turned out pretty nicely in that we volunteered for a shift from 10am-2pm and since Tim wanted to watch the Husky vs. Purdue game, we went straight to Sport Restaurant & Bar in Fischer Plaza across from the Seattle Center. Vegfest itself was pretty fun. During breaks, we got to try out all the food. My favorites were the tofu (flavored) and donuts from Mighty-O’s.

I was in charge of passing out samples of Soymilk.
Tim at the Sports Bar watching the Huskies. We were both disappointed when they lost to Purdue. :(
Friday night we celebrated my birthday at Macaroni Grill. It was a great time to get together and spend time with good friends. Thanks guys!
Yesterday was also the 2nd annual St. Patrick’s Day pub crawl. Last year Tim and I attended and figured we didn’t want to miss this years. This year was a bit different in that I couldn’t drink, but it was still fun to go around. We only hit three places this year. We met up with Jovanna, Tracy, & Jason after work. Places we hit were: Fox Sports Bar & Grill, The Taphouse, & Pike Place Brewery. Below are some pics.

Yesterday the Customer Service Branch threw me a surprise baby shower. It was my last day in the branch before I went back to the Director’s Office so it was a very nice surprise. They did an awesome job of putting the whole thing together without my knowledge. They were also very generous. They got Tim and I a baby carrier from REI, along with some baby clothes, a book, and a couple of gift cards. What a great group! I am very happy that I got to spend 9 months with such nice people. :)

Our usual gathering at mom and dad’s on Sunday. Ate and Nathan were in town visiting since mom and dad are leaving to go to the Philippines on the 16th. It was nice just hanging out as usual. Below are some pics from when Tim and I went on a walk with Kabon, Jack, & Emma. We walked to the nearby park and played a bit. Pictures are courtesy of Kabon.
