Anniversary Hike – Hidden Lake Lookout 8/29/11

Today Tim and I hiked up to Hidden Lake lookout for our Anniversary hike. 6 days after our true anniversary but better late than never. This hike is actually pretty special as it was our first tough hike together almost 5 years ago. It’s one of my favs as most of my favorites are lookouts. :) Not an easy hike as it’s 9 miles round trip with an elevation gain of 3290ft. Highest point is 6890ft.

Riverfest 8/28/11

Today we went to Bothell’s Riverfest festival. Pretty cool event where there were lots of booths with free stuff and even had inflatables for kids to play on. Here’s a video of Tim and Payton going down the slide.

Storytime and backyard fun 8/27/11

Today we went to Barnes and Noble storytime. Not as good as the one we usually go to back in Jersey but ok for an outing. They didn’t even have coloring at the end.

Willis Tucker Water Park 8/26/11

Today we took the kids to the Willis Tucker splash park. Payton was hesitant at first but enjoyed it after a while. Trevor had a blast!
