Power still out

The boys still have fun even if the power is out.

Hurricane Sandy

Hurricane Sandy hit us last night. We lost power around 8:30pm and still have no power. Tim did an assessment in our development outside and there are many trees down or uprooted. Here are some pics he took.

Neighborhood Halloween Party

Today we went our neighborhood associations Halloween party. Went on a hay ride around the neighborhood and enjoyed some treats. It was our last outing before Hurricane Sandy was to hit.

         

Touch a truck and another Trunk or Treat

Went into Trenton today for their Touch a truck event at the Sun Center. It’s a great event where there are all types of trucks – fire engines, ups truck, ambulance, big rig, mail truck etc.. are out and kids can touch and sit in them. You can even honk the horn (although it did get annoying after a while). It’s great for kids, both Payton and Collin loved it.

After all that fun, we went to a local church that was hosting another trunk or treat. This one had lots of cars to go trick or treating. :)
