We started out the day hanging out at the Capitol so Payton could play on the lawn.
Then we watched the 4th of July Parade
Payton loved the Smithsonian carousel!
We met up with Cecille and her sisters for dinner. It was great seeing them.
Then off to get a spot to see the fireworks. We chose a spot between the Capitol and Washington Monument.
Awesome fireworks!
Unfortunately Payton fell asleep before the fireworks began.
