A day in Philly 4/4/10

Today we had to return the rental car back to the Philadelphia airport so we decided to spend some time exploring Philly. Our first stop was lunch. Tim had heard about Geno’s and Pat’s (Philly Cheesesteaks)from a friend so we headed there. To our disappointment Pat’s was closed. However Geno’s was open but the whole point was to try both as they are rivals across the street from each other.

After lunch, we headed to the Italian market where we scored an awesome deal on blueberries.

After the market we headed to Independence Park area where we saw the Liberty Bell and also took a tour of Independence Hall. Independence Hall is where both the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were signed.
