Olympic Peninsula – Second Beach, Ruby Beach, & the Hoh Rain Forest 08/24/09

On our second day in the Olympic Peninsula, we headed to Second Beach. To get to the beach we took a short hike down to the water. The best thing I liked about the beach were the rocks or sea stacks and how you can walk out to them (when low tide) and see the little tide pools around them with starfish. Below are pics:

Last stop for the day, the Hoh Rainforest. We knew this was Payton’s favorite because he was awake most of the time and really enjoyed looking at the trees.
