Park & Christmas tree

Went to Village park this morning for the kids to play. Today Payton surprised us and climbed a harder part of the play structure.

 

This evening, we put up our Christmas tree and some other Christmas decorations.

 

The boys enjoyed seeing it all come together.

Christmas Tree lighting in Palmer Square

Today we went to the Christmas tree lighting even in Palmer square. The tree is 65 ft. tall and lit with 32,000 lights.  Here are pics.

It was a great event! Santa made an appearance and there were Christmas songs played. It was a really nice way to get into the Christmas spirit!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Happy Thanksgiving! I’m thankful for a lot of things but most thankful for my wonderful husband and two kids, along with all my family and friends near and far.

This morning we hung out at the park where the kids had fun. Wanted to get them to nap early so we can head over to a friend’s house for Thanksgiving dinner at 4pm. Here are pics from the park:

       

After lunch and naps, we headed over to my friend Junko’s for Thanksgiving dinner. It was a great time. Thanks to Junko for inviting us over for dinner and preparing lots of good food!!
