Sourland Mt. Preserve Hike 7/31/11

Today we headed to the Sourland Mountain Preserve for a hike. We hiked about 3.1 miles. This was Collin’s first time in a backpack and he did really well. He seemed very curious and enjoyed looking at everything. Payton had fun as usual. :)

       

Grounds for Sculpture Park 7/30/11

Today we took advantage of another free museum pass from the Princeton Public Library. This time we headed to the Grounds for Sculpture Park. It’s a neat place with lots of interesting sculptures. Payton had fun walking around and he enjoyed seeing the peacocks that roamed freely.

 

Collin in a park swing 7/29/11

Today was Collin’s first time in a park swing. He really enjoyed it. :) 

Academy of Natural Sciences 7/24/11

We really love the libraries here as they have free museum passes. This time we took advantage of Princeton Public library’s free museum pass to the Academy of Natural Sciences Museum. It was a great museum with lots to see for Payton.

Payton really liked the bees.

 

We saw dinosaur fossils.

 

Cool animals.

 

The butterfly room was really neat. Live butterflies flying around.

One of their exhibits was a really cool miniature golf course.

 

Afterwards we walked by Schwann Fountain.

Then visited the Rodin Museum.
